Pauline (née Lamarche) Vinette, of Bradenton Florida, joined her beloved husband of 55 years Gilles Vinette (1933-2021) peacefully on October 4 after a recent diagnosis of metastatic lung cancer. Pauline was born in the “Tin House” across the street from Saint Victor Roman Catholic Church in Alfred, Ontario Canada on July 30, 1946. Pauline was the tenth child of 16 born to parents Rose-Alba and Albert Lamarche. She is survived by her son Paul Vinette (Rochester, NY) and daughter Julie Vinette (Marblehead, MA), son-in-law Paul Baker and grand-children Silas and Wendell Baker. She has 5 surviving siblings: Odette Lalande, Denise Gagne´, Ghislaine Levac, Michel Lamarche, and Alain Lamarche.

Friends and family who knew Pauline were fortunate to enjoy her cooking and love of entertaining. She was a hairdresser with her own shop in Greece, NY and extended her creative talents to painting and baking in retirement. She traveled extensively (Alaska, Europe, Morocco, the Caribbean) and made friends wherever she went. She shone on the golf course with her impressive left-handed drive and won more than a few trophies at Pine Brook. We are grateful for all that Pauline shared over her 80 years and will miss her every day. If you wish, please donate in memory of Pauline Vinette to the American Cancer Society.
