William A. "Bill" Rose, 80, passed away on November 28, 2023, in Bradenton, Florida. He was born May 27, 1943, in Syracuse, New York, to Carl and Eileen (Hickey) Rose.
Bill was a loving man who was always willing to help out a family member or friend with anything they needed. He loved to fish and enjoyed watching golf and football, following the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints. He liked to work in hospitality, having worked at Walmart as a greeter, Publix in customer service, and more recently, at Kona Brewing at the Sarasota airport. His "handlebar" moustache was a popular photo opportunity wherever he went.
He is predeceased by his parents; son, Darren Rose; brother, Richard Rose. He is survived by his daughter, Alison (Mark) Rose, who lives in Rockland, MA, and the mother of his children, Marilyn Rose, who lives in New York.
A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM, Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209.
