Jeannette Vannais, 96, Tropic Isles, Palmetto, FL passed peacefully on September 22, 2026.
Jeannette lived in Woodbury Heights, NJ, Bradenton, FL, West Palm Beach, FL and the last 15 years in Palmetto, FL. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She made many friends in many places as she was known for her wit, competitive game playing, Red Hatter days, fishing with her pink fishing rod, skiing and scuba diving with her family, tap dancing, clown costuming, partying, shark teeth hunting and family get togethers!
Survivors include her three children all in Palmetto – sons Vincent Michael Contarino, Stephen Wayne Contarino and daughter Dorothy Ann Campbell; brother William Cooper Eldrige, Annapolis, MD; sister Cheryl Eisenhardt, Woolwich, ME; 9 grandchildren – Vincent, Michael, Danny, Jacki, Mark, Paul, Lance and David; 11 great-grandchildren – Abigail, Tyler, Amelia, Isabella, Stella, Gianna, Sam, Lilly, Carter, Zachary and Valentina.
Celebration of life services are being scheduled.
