Shirley Ann Hine, 84, of Palmetto went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2023.
She was born in Smithville, Ohio, July 11, 1939. She graduated from Smithville High School in 1958. In 1965, she married Leslie Hine while he was stationed in Maryland. They lived in Hawaii for a few years before moving to Les's hometown of Parrish, Florida. Shirley worked for several years at Judy's Fabrics in Palmetto. She was then employed at Johnson & Smith Catalog company when she retired. Shirley was member of the First Baptist Church of Gillette.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Cleo and John Mani; her brother Eddie Mani, and her beloved husband of 41 years Les. She is survived by siblings, Faye Ellis, Cindy Dennis and Harley Mani; children, Richard (Wendy) Hine and Bradley (Robin) Hine; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10 AM Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Gillette. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local charity of your choice.
