Bradenton, Florida - Bobbie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who peacefully passed away with family at the age of 96. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island; attended Granby High School in Norfolk, Virginia; earned a BA in English and History at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York; and received a Master's in Guidance with a Specialty Degree at the University of South Florida.

Bobbie resided for 70 years in Bradenton, Florida where she was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and served as a Sunday school teacher. She was also a life-long member of Entres Nous, she also served as President for Brandenton Women's Club. Bobbie was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa educational sorority and a member of Retired Educators of Manatee County. She was a Guidance Coordinator for Manatee County Schools until her retirement and was admired by her colleagues and loved by all who knew her.

Bobbie is predeceased by her parents William and Elsa Bryant. She is survived by her son, Richard Briggs (Ann) of Kingwood, Texas; her daughter, Carol Paulson (Steve) of Mooresville, North Carolina; her grandson Will Briggs (Kimmy) of Lewistown, Montana; her granddaughter, Keely Ray (Jason) of Davidson, North Carolina; and her beloved great-grandsons Brayden and Rylan Ray. She is also survived by her 94-year old sister, Connie of Bakersfield, California, and her extended family.

Family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a future date.
