Robert "Bob" Mercier passed away on April 26, 2025, in Bradenton, Florida. Born on December 31, 1946, Bob lived a life full of joy, laughter, and cherished moments. Bob was a veteran of the Army, where he served in Vietnan and received 2 purple hearts a bronze star medal of honor. Bob had a successful career that spanned over 40 years with Northrup Grumman.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Suzanne Mercier, who passed on March 6, 2012. Bob's legacy continues through his loving family: daughter Jaime Spanos and her husband Jason, along with their children Branden, Lexi, Eric, and granddaughter Addison; son Brad Mercier and his wife Alana with their children Kayla and Camden; and daughter Lindsay Murillo and her husband Anthony with their children Andrew, Leah, and Colt. Survived by his siblings Mark Mercier and Peggy Rodzinak, and his late brother Bill Mercier.
Bob had a deep passion for sports that he shared with everyone around him. A devoted fan of Ravens football and the Baltimore Orioles, he found great joy in cheering for his favorite teams. He especially loved watching his grandchildren play sports and following Maryland Men's Lacrosse. His enthusiasm was infectious-those who knew Bob were drawn to his happy spirit and treasured his company.
Bobby's vibrant personality left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His love for life was evident in every smile he shared.
