Paul Russell Willis, 56, of Palmetto, FL passed on Saturday August 5, 2023, with his beloved family by his side. Paul was a loving and caring person, devoted husband, father, working professional, and friend.
Born on June 3, 1967 in Bradenton, FL to Father Robert Mac Willis (preceded in death) and Mother Sharon Sebern Magrane. Paul graduated from Christian School of Fine Arts of Bradenton, FL and married Glenda Willis on February 20, 1987 in Bradenton, FL. Paul began his career as a Firefighter, but spent the last 30 years as a Superintendent at Sarasota Land Services, Inc.
Paul was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and took riding trips with family and friends. But beyond his love for motorcycles, he cherished his role as a grandparent above all else. He found joy spending time with his grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, riding/working on dirt bikes, teaching mechanical skills and most importantly teaching them the values of hard work and dedication.
Survived by his wife, Glenda Willis; his son Levi Russell Willis (Katie McCarren); grandchildren Peyton, Chase, Blake, Bryce, and Kinsley; his mother Sharon Sebern Magrane; his brothers Timothy (Debbie) Willis and Robert (Christina) Willis; his sister Chantal (Chris) Stewart; niece Charleigh Mack; nephews Stephan, Chris (preceded in death), Shane and Caleb; and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Paul's warm heart, sense of adventure and dedication to family will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Though he has taken the final ride into the horizon, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace forever riding on in our cherished memories.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday November 5, 2023 from 12:00PM-2:00PM at Bradenton Moose Lodge 1223, 310 44th Ave E. Bradenton, FL 34203. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at 5821 1st Avenue Dr. W. Bradenton, FL 34209.
