Mark Maxwell Huffman passed away peacefully at his home on December 24, 2023, in Conyers, Georgia.

Born in Beaufort, South Carolina on December 11, 1966, Mark spent his early childhood in Syracuse, New York before moving to Florida around age 12. He graduated from Sarasota High School in 1986, where he was a member of the R.O.T.C. program.

Mark joined the United States Air Force after graduation, where he excelled and travelled to Japan. He served proudly for 10 years, receiving an Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, as well as various other service ribbons and awards.

After separating from the Air Force in 1999 at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia, Mark made his home in Atlanta, Georgia, where his career in warehousing operations spanned 24 years.

Mark's legacy carries on in his two sons, Marques (Jasmine) Huffman and Emaun Huffman, as well as two grandsons, Julian and Noah, and a sweet granddaughter, Aubrie, all whom he loved immensely.

In addition to his sons and grandchildren, Mark is survived by his mother, Dorothy Marshall, his father, Ronald Huffman, stepmother, Lynda Huffman, and Siblings, Miles (Denise) Clark, Cornel (MaryAnn) Huffman, Jay (Kellie) Clark, Denesa Ford, and Justin Huffman. Mark is also lovingly remembered by a large body of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and a list of friends too lengthy to number.

Mark will forever be remembered as a man with a good heart. He was a fun guy who had a good time wherever he was. He loved being surrounded by family and friends, eating good seafood, and listening to smooth jazz music.

He was a die-hard Buccaneers fan and never missed a chance to see his prized Tampa Bay Bucs when they came to Atlanta. (Go Bucs!). Mark will be laid to peacefully rest at the Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida in honor of his service.
