Herbert Lee King, 86, passed away peacefully at home in Bradenton, Florida, on May 1, 2024. He was born to Ned King and Nancy King, on July 30, 1937, in Dayton, Ohio.
Herbert sold homes for many years. He enjoyed golfing, being active in his church, he volunteered at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Retreat Center in Venice, most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Toni King; son, Kevin King; daughter, Karrie Payne, and sister, Patricia Smith. He is predeceased by his parents.
A Mass Service will be held 9:30 AM, Monday, May 6, 2024, at Ss Peter & Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2850 75th Street West, Bradenton, FL.
A burial will take place at a later date at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 712 Grove Street, Upper Montclair, NJ 07043.
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in his name to Parkinsons's Foundation (www.parkinson.org) or Tidewell Hospice (www.tidewellhospice.org).
