Frank Jerry Winters, 80, passed away on December 29, 2023, in Bradenton, Florida. He was born February 17, 1943, in St. Louis, MO, to Jerry and Olive (Barrett) Winters.
Frank was a contract engineer. He worked in many states across the country. Frank loved starting a new job as he enjoyed the challenges that came with starting a new job. He began his career hand drafting before the computer age came along; he challenged himself to that. Frank later moved into 3d modeling.
He loved fishing and teaching children to fish. Frank enjoyed golfing, chess, hunting quail, he could be on water or under water, reading and playing blackjack and breakfast at IHOP.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Wayne and Ronald and sister, Sandra. He will be missed by his life partner of 23 years, Barbara Tobisch, and his children, Ron (Neal) Winters, Steven Winters, Cindy (Richard) Durrant and Kristine (David) Bridges. Lots of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Lingamurthy at the Cancer Center in Bradenton, FL. Also, outpatient care at HCA Florida Blake Hospital & Hospice Tidewell nurse, Jayme.
