Jonathan Mullis is a candidate for the Manatee County School Board's District 5 seat. He joins Mitch and Dawn for a discussion on his campaign platform and issues facing the district.
Great perspective and experience. It's good to have a candidate who has had children go through the schools here and is aware of the issues facing them. I did volunteer for a reading program in Title 1 schools for a few years, and it was sad to see the differences in the reading levels at different schools. He's intelligent and thoughtful and knows how to run a business and work with others. He certainly has my vote.
