Cynthia Catherine Edwards, a cherished soul, was born on June 8, 1943, in Brooklyn, NY. She peacefully departed from this earthly realm on August 24, 2023, at the age of 80, in Parrish, FL.

Cynthia will forever be held dear in the hearts of her loved ones, as she leaves behind a legacy of creativity and passions that enriched the lives of all who knew her. She possessed a remarkable talent for painting, sewing, and playing music on her organ, bringing beauty and joy into the world through her artistic endeavors. Cynthia's love for the theater and Opera was an integral part of her life, as she found solace and inspiration within the performances that graced the stage.

An avid explorer of the world, Cynthia embarked on countless adventures, immersing herself in different cultures and embracing the diversity of our vast planet. Her inquisitive nature and thirst for knowledge led her to Ocean County College, where she furthered her education and developed a deep understanding of Computer Science. As a dedicated teacher and tutor, Cynthia imparted her wisdom to her students, igniting their curiosity and nurturing their growth.

Cynthia's devotion extended beyond her personal pursuits, as she actively engaged in her community. She was a valued member of the Lions Club and Opera Guild, where she shared her passion for service and the performing arts with likeminded individuals. Her warm heart and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the world around her.

In reverence to her faith, Cynthia found solace and spiritual nourishment at the Manatee Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. She discovered a sense of belonging and a community that embraced her with open arms.

In her leisure time, Cynthia found joy in her hobbies, including sewing, crafting, and painting. These creative outlets allowed her to express her unique perspective and bring her innermost visions to life. Her love for travel and exploration took her on remarkable journeys, broadening her horizons and deepening her appreciation for the beauty that lies beyond our shores.

A memorial service to honor Cynthia's life will be held on November 4, 2023, at 10:30 am. The service will take place at the Manatee Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, where family, friends, and all those touched by Cynthia's grace will gather to pay their respects. Following the service, Cynthia's earthly remains will find their final resting place in the Memorial Gardens located at 322 15th St W, Bradenton, FL.

Cynthia Cathrine Edwards was predeceased by her loving husband, Mervine Edwards. She will forever be remembered as a vibrant spirit and touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her sister Jeanie Olah, brother Frank Butler and sister-in-law Patricia, son Arthur A Stueber, daughter Alida Muir and son-in-law Paul, daughter Elizabeth Glickel and son-in-law Howard, son Robert Stueber and daughter-in-law Wendy, as well as her cherished grandchildren Jacob and Perry Stueber, August Muir, Tiersa Elliott, Dylan Glickel, Carly Snyder, Alfredo and Sarah Stueber.
