Austin Michael VanDeRoer, 28, passed peacefully on December 26, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born December 31, 1994.
He was a graduate of Braden River High School and Manatee Technical Institute.
Austin was a talented welder. Austin was a native of Bradenton, FL, with a big heart. Austin lived his love of adventure by dirt biking, fishing, and boating. Austin was diagnosed with Grey Zone Lymphoma in 2023 and fought his aggressive cancer with great determination and recently celebrated the successful end of extensive treatment.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Michael VanDeRoer and Tina (Dallas) Slettvet; grandmother, Annette Stein, and grandparents, Steve and Ruby Teeple, all from Bradenton and Palmetto, FL. He also will be missed by his extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be 12 PM, Sunday, December 31, 2023, with visitation followed by a Celebration of Life 1 PM at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd St West, Bradenton, FL 34209.
