Bradenton, Florida - Neal Lawrence Bowers, 83, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at HCA Florida Blake Hospital, Bradenton of natural causes.
He was born in Ohio to George O. and Mabel (Goodman) Bowers. He was the middle child of seven boys. Neal's parents and brothers, Harold, Robert, Walter, George Jr., and Fred preceded him in death, while his youngest brother, Darrell, survives.
Neal leaves behind his daughter, Julie (Tracy) Rall, two grandchildren, Brittany (David) Gockley and Brandon Rall, as well as two great-grandchildren, Leah and Daniel Gockley.
He loved spending time with his family and friends and seeing his neighbors at community events. Neal enjoyed designing and crafting woodworking projects and continued making model cars throughout his retirement.
Neal served in the United States Marine Corps.
A Celebration of Life for Neal will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. located at Braden River United Methodist Church, 5858 44th Ave. E. Bradenton, FL.
