Bradenton - Lori Lynn Eframson passed away peacefully in Bradenton, Florida on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024.
Born February 6th, 1963 in Ithaca NY to Gustaf and Sally Eframson. Despite an injury at 10 years old, which left her unable to walk, Lori graduated from Ithaca High School in 1981, attended TC3 and then on to Buffalo State University where she graduated with a Masters in Special Education. Her love for teaching led her to teach special needs children in a rehabilitation center in Buffalo, NY and then with the Buffalo Public School District.
Her family has always been so proud of her accomplishments and strong will to be independent. Lori lived in Amherst Buffalo directly out of college until she moved to Bradenton, Florida in 2022. She loved to be with her friends, paint, do crafts, plan adventures and go fishing. Lori was an extremely loving and giving person and had a great sense of humor.
Lori is survived by her Wife; Katherine Augustyn of 30 years, Mother; Sally Eframson, Sister; Amy (John) Augustine, Sister-In-Law; Judy (Mike) Stromeyer, Aunt; Doris Perialas, Cousins; Alex (Kristina) Perialas, Valerie (Jenn) Perialas, and Lisa Dougherty. Nieces and Nephews; Antonio Ruta, Michael Ruta, Mark Eframson, Courtney Eframson, and Joey Eframson along with many close friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her Father; Gustaf Eframson, Brother; John Eframson, Grandparents; Josephine Eframson, Emil Eframson, Evelyn Birch, and Leslie Birch.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to an organization that is close to your heart.
