Helen Marie Herkes, 76, passed away in Bradenton, Florida, on January 12, 2024. She was born January 28, 1947, to Henry Niesiobedzki and Margaret Smoke, in Bristol, Connecticut.
She was a Supervisor with the Department of Transportation. Marie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Peter Charles Herkes; brother, Robert Andrew Niesiobedzki, and sister, Linda Ann Yant.
Graveside Service will be 1 PM, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Skyway Memorial Gardens, 5200 US Highway 19, Palmetto, FL 34221. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209, is in charge of arrangements.
