Does My Vote Count? Community Dialogue Thursday

This Thursday, Braver Angels and the League of Women Voters Manatee County will host a community conversation on election security.

Moderated by Dr. Pat Maher, Tampa Alliance Co-Chair for Braver Angels, the program will open with a presentation by Scott Farrington, Manatee County Supervisor of Elections, offering a firsthand, nonpartisan look at how local elections are run and safeguarded.

Attendees will then break into small discussion groups mixing perspectives across the political spectrum to discuss different aspects of election issues in search of common ground.

Whatever side you are on, this conversation is for you. Election security means different things to different people, and that's exactly why we need to talk about it together. You are invited to an honest, respectful conversation about how our elections work. Invite a friend who thinks differently from you. Everyone is welcome and needed!
