C’est La Vie Restaurant Opens New Location in Lakewood Ranch

LAKEWOOD RANCH — On Tuesday, downtown Sarasota French restaurant, bakery, and café C’est La Vie held a soft opening for a second location in Lakewood Ranch. 

“We are so excited to finally open our own second location in Lakewood Ranch. We have had customers asking for this for years and it is wonderful to see it finally launch,” said Christophe Coutelle, proprietor of C’est La Vie. “My wife, Géraldine, and I opened C’est La Vie in downtown Sarasota in 1997. We wanted to introduce a Parisian-style café. Everyone thought we were crazy, saying that no one in Sarasota would sit or eat outside in downtown Sarasota, especially if you are not on the water."

Obviously, that was not the case, as the operation quickly became a Main Street staple.

“We were so successful with creating one of the first, if not the first, outdoor café and restaurant in downtown Sarasota that people started to ask us to open elsewhere,” said Coutelle. “This has been a long time coming, and we are thrilled to be a part of Lakewood Ranch.”

C’est La Vie Lakewood Ranch is located at 9118 Town Center Parkway and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It offers breakfast, lunch, café, apéritifs, a bakery, catering, and specialty wine-tasting diners. The full menu is available online at cestlaviesarasota.com.
