PALMETTO — Tickets are on sale now for the third annual European Holiday Market hosted at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, December 2-6, now with an added day for optimal cultural immersion.

Holiday shoppers can explore a cultivated European holiday inspired experience featuring unique merchants offering handmade crafts, culinary delights, interactive attractions as well as a visit from Old Saint Nicholas.

Advanced tickets are $5 and available online or at the Manatee Performing Arts Center Box Office. Starting December 2nd, tickets will be $10 online, at the box office, or at the door. Children under the age of 12 enter for free. Veterans and Educators tickets are $5, with valid credentials.

This year’s market has more than doubled its merchant stalls with more than 80 merchants, new and returning, including Madison Marilla, from Netflix’s Emmy-award winner series, “Love on the Spectrum.”  Her booth will feature her “Madizen” bracelets, famous Zen Buddies and custom necklaces featuring shells found on Anna Maria Island. Photo opportunities will also be available.

European-inspired dishes and beverages will be offered by in-house caterer, Gulf Islands Hospitality, featuring last year’s famed glühwein - inspired by German holiday markets, Polish perogies (a market favorite), and locally made brats provided by this year’s food sponsor, Geier Sausage. Guests can also enjoy specialty cocktails by Gasparilla Distillery, the official spirit sponsor, and fresh holiday brews by Coastal Coffee, this year’s coffee sponsor.

“The European Holiday Market is an event to connect us and encourage the spirit of giving that only the holiday season can bring,” said Elliott Falcione, Executive Director of the Bradenton Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. “In our third season, we’re happy to once again bring this magical experience to families, residents and visitors.”
