Posted

Built in 1926, the Villa Serena Inn is the Sarasota area's oldest surviving inn and is registered on the National Register of Historic Places. The adjacent Carriage House Studio provides an intimate yet comfortable space and is a great setting for creative learning experiences. In addition to traditional activities, the Inn provides unique spaces for workshops, internet streaming, and outdoor events for individuals, families, and friends of all ages!

Art students who attend classes in The Carriage House Studio at the Villa frequently have commented on the creativity that accompanies their learning experience.

"This was a great class by an excellent teacher and in a beautiful venue!"

"It was great to have an in person class with such a knowledgeable and talented instructor. The one on one time exceeded my expectations.”

"I love the smaller classroom setting. It's more intimate and cozy. Love the ambiance of the Inn. The instructor is fabulous and I enjoy her demonstrations and marvel at her skills. I learn so much from her. I never tire to hear what she has to say. Her critique is supportive and honest."
