BRADENTON – There are a handful of local government meetings on the calendar this week. The Palmetto City Commission will convene Monday for a meeting and a workshop. The Manatee County Commission will be in session on Tuesday for its special meeting, and again on Thursday for a land-use meeting. A Council of Governments meeting is scheduled for Tuesday.
