Pickleball tournament to benefit local critically ill children

LAKEWOOD RANCH — The Lakewood Ranch Country Club (East) will host the 2nd Annual Casey Cares Serve Up Smiles Pickleball Tournament this Saturday, February 1, from 1 to 5 PM. 100% of proceeds benefit the Casey Cares Foundation and its programs that provide fun activities to critically ill children and their families.

Donation boxes will accept gift cards and new pajamas for their popular Kami's Jammies and Hammy's Heart initiatives. Hammy's Heart offers grocery assistance to families burdened by medical bills.

Kami's Jammies supplies sleepwear to kids and families in treatment. Casey Cares serves over 190 critically ill children and their families in Florida. A Casey Cares family will speak at the tournament about the impact the organization on made on their lives.
