Mayors Corner: City of Bradenton

Last week, I joined members of the City Council and City leadership in Tallahassee to meet with state legislators and representatives from key agencies, including the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Department of Transportation, and Florida Commerce.

These meetings are an important part of making sure Bradenton’s priorities are heard and that we continue building strong partnerships that support our city’s future.

February brings some of the most exciting events of the year to Bradenton. The Bradenton Area River Regatta returns to our Riverwalk, drawing visitors from across the country and showcasing our downtown and waterfront.

Spring Training also begins this month, and we are proud to welcome the Pittsburgh Pirates back to their longtime home in Bradenton.
