Mayor's Corner

Posted

February was an exciting month in The Friendly City, as we welcomed over 100,000 visitors for the 10th Annual Bradenton Area River Regatta!

The two-day event featured a dazzling drone and fireworks show, the LECOM 5K Run, live entertainment, and thrilling powerboat races, making it a spectacular celebration on the Manatee River.

We also welcomed back the Pittsburgh Pirates for what has been an exciting spring training season so far. Since 1969, the Pirates have been a staple in our community, and our love for baseball runs deep.

We are proud of this longstanding partnership and the role it plays in making Bradenton a place where fans, families, and future generations can connect through America’s pastime.

It’s been a great start to 2025—thank you for being part of it!
