Zachary Molnar, Deputy Chief of Operations/EMS Shift Commander with Manatee County EMS, has been arrested and charged with Lewd and Lascivious Conduct.

On July 16, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit was contacted by the FBI's Florida field office regarding a case involving Child Sexual Abuse Material linked to a suspect in another jurisdiction.
During an examination of that suspect’s device, investigators discovered several images and videos of an adult male engaging in lewd acts with a child. Subsequent investigation led the FBI to identify the adult male in the footage as 46-year-old Zachary Molnar, Deputy Chief of Operations/EMS Shift Commander with Manatee County EMS.
A search warrant was obtained for Molnar’s residence, and upon execution of the warrant, it was confirmed that he was indeed the individual depicted in the images alongside a child under the age of 14.
Interviews with the victim revealed that Molnar had committed lewd acts within the past few months. Detectives also found evidence indicating that the abuse appears to have been ongoing for several years. As a result, Molnar was arrested and taken to the Manatee County Jail on one count of Lewd and Lascivious Conduct.
The investigation is ongoing to determine if additional charges will be filed.
