Every year Leagues across the country hold hundreds of candidate forums, distribute printed local voters’ guides and gather candidate responses in Vote411.org. We do this to ensure that all voters understand where the candidates stand on the issues that impact their communities.
In this forum, candidates will answer questions prepared by the Manatee League of Women Voters, taking into consideration those submitted in advance. We will also take questions in the Chat by participants during the forum. We conduct our forums in an egalitarian manner, with all candidates being asked the same questions, and all questions being vetted to assure a nonpartisan viewpoint.
If you have any questions you wish to submit prior to the forum, please submit them to info@lwvmanatee.org by July 13.
