Lakewood Ranch to Host 9/11 Remembrance

LAKEWOOD RANCH — The public is invited to a morning of remembrance as we honor the lives lost, recognize the courage and sacrifice of our first responders, and reflect on the resilience that united our nation following the events of September 11, 2001.

Sponsored by Veteran Air, this meaningful community gathering will take place Friday, September 11, 2026, from 8:30–10:00 AM at Greenbrook Adventure Park Pavilion in Lakewood Ranch. Complimentary coffee and donuts will be provided.

Help us honor our local heroes. We’re accepting nominations for Lakewood Ranch residents who served in the response and recovery efforts following 9/11/2001. Email info@lwrca.org to submit a nomination.
