Ghislaine Maxwell "Clears" Trump?

Posted

TEXAS — Ghislaine Maxwell has reportedly "cleared" President Donald Trump of any wrongdoing during a nine-hour interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche last month. Maxwell is said to have told Blanche that Trump never engaged in inappropriate behavior in her presence.

Just after testifying, Maxwell was transferred to a minimum security prison in Texas that has been described as one of the nation's most lenient lockups for non-violent female offenders. Maxwell needed a waiver for the transfer, as convicted sex offenders are not typically allowed to be housed in such low-security facilities.

Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence after being convicted of trafficking of a minor, transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and three counts of conspiracy to commit related offenses, such as enticing minors to travel for illegal sex acts and sex trafficking of minors.

Maxwell's attorney, David Markus, said she "didn't hold anything back" when asked about approximately 100 individuals. The Trump administration has floated the idea of releasing the transcripts of the interview, though it is unclear if the accompanying audio recording would also be made public.

Blanche, who Trump described as a "straight shooter" while characterizing the interview as "totally above board," was Trump's personal defense attorney before being appointed Deputy Attorney General. Trump has not ruled out the possibility of granting Maxwell a pardon or clemency.

The announcement comes as the president faces increased scrutiny over a slow and steady drip of new evidence suggesting his ties to Epstein and Maxwell were even closer than previously thought.

It isn't as if she has nothing to gain with this kind of "truthy" testimony... is it? '

    "Nothing to see here, folks..."

There are a WHOLE bunch of victims who have shared their experiences publicly, for years. Their stories are consistent, and many of them say that they were ALL there.

Let me get this straight, Trump's former personal attorney meets with Maxwell for 9 hours, a day or two later she is transferred to the cushiest women's prison in the country, and a few days after that she said she never saw Trump do anything inappropriate. Nothing to see here folks.

Why would anyone believe anything she says anyway? If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, it's a duck. Everyone knew exactly about this collusion going on when the attorney went to the prison. Next might be a pardon.
