As a person, congressional candidate, and American, I feel compelled to express these opinions: Donald Trump is a fascist. His rally at Madison Square Garden was a travesty of racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic and lying propaganda.
It was horrifying and terrifying. The rally opened with a speaker calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.” Others labelled Vice President Kamala Harris the “anti-Christ” managed by “pimps,” former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton a “sick son of a bitch” and Democrats generally “Jew-haters and lowlifes.”
Thereafter, Trump himself began moderately, asking if people were “better off now than you were four years ago.” He lapsed, however, into antiimmigrant rants, calling for fighting the “enemy from within.” While our opponent Vern Buchanan has repeatedly endorsed and been endorsed by Trump, I do not believe he shares such vile views.
Please, Vern, in the name of democracy and common decency, denounce the despicable rhetoric.

I feel sorry for you. Your absolute feelings of negativity... your inability to see true love of country and your lack of patriotism. Love instead of hate is what you need. Also....thank you TBT for allowing all to speak even if they spew hate

“The forcible suppression of opposition” seems to be more a litany of Democrats, rather than Trump!
