Council Corner, City of Bradenton: Ward 3

Back to school! It’s always a busy and productive time throughout Bradenton. I am grateful for the work being done every day by our City employees, first responders, educators, local businesses and, of course, residents who all play a role in making our community a great place to call home.

Throughout Ward 3 and across the City, we continue to see progress on projects that improve our neighborhoods, infrastructure, public spaces, and overall quality of life. Some of that work is highly visible, while much of it happens quietly behind the scenes. Either way, it takes coordination, planning, and a commitment to getting the job done right.

One of the things I value most about serving on City Council is hearing directly from residents. Whether the issue involves a road, drainage, code enforcement, public safety, a new business, or simply an idea for making Bradenton better, those conversations help keep our focus on the things that matter most to our community.

As our teachers and students return to the classroom, I wish them a safe and successful school year. I appreciate the opportunity to serve you and look forward to continuing our work together for Bradenton.
