BRADENTON — The Chop Shop, an iconic butcher and grocery in west Bradenton, unveiled a stunning new mural on the side of its Manatee Ave building this week. The vibrant work of art features "Bradenton" splashed across a rainbow canvas, with playful icons like flamingos mid-flight, swaying palm trees, roaring power boats, and oversized sunglasses weaved in.
Brandon Scott and Jorde are the artists behind this colorful new addition to the Bradenton mural scene. Scott and Jorde's paths crossed during a residency at the world-famous DaVinci exhibit. Teaming up with The Chop Shop, these visionaries have infused the project with a fresh, imaginative flair, cementing Bradenton’s status as a hotspot for The Arts and community greatness. The work includes top-notch cutting-edge 3D illusion techniques that leap off the building.
"Public art has a special way of bringing people together, and this new mural at The Chop Shop is a fantastic example of Bradenton's creativity and community spirit," said Mayor Gene Brown. "With its bold design and nods to the events that make our city unique, it truly reflects what Bradenton is all about. We're proud to see local businesses and artists working together to make Bradenton an even more vibrant and welcoming place."

Wow, that is impressive and eye catching. The colors are uplifting and vibrant with a nice retro look. Manatee County should hire them to re-do that dull entrance sign in front of SRQ airport.
