I can't believe the number of people who say no to revisiting this environmental issue especially since Orange County (not a coastal county) has voted to approve a 100-foot buffer for connected wetlands. And Aqua on the Bay proposing a 0-foot buffer along Sarasota Bay wetlands. So much for the 25-foot average 15-foot minimum in the Florida Statutes. Guess this is alternative engineering solutions.

Maybe a better question would be, "Should future Manatee County Commissioners Revisit Reduced Wetlands Protections?" Clearly, this current board would vote the exact same way.

Revisit it, of course it needs to be revisited along with the gang of 6 to get mandatory mental health exams. If that doesn't work, they need to check to see if their heads are up their ass. The BOCC are such puppets of the developers. Ackward on the Bay with ZERO setbacks and not a peep from the gang of 6 during the vote. Speaks volumes to the Citizens, taxpayers and VOTERS who will not let this insanity go on. One and Done

But there will be no justice, there will be no government of the people, by the people, and for the people, as long as the government and its officials permit bribery in any form.
