BRADENTON — It's another weekend, and you know what that means. If you guessed another great lineup of local, talented musicians in Manatee, Sarasota, and surrounding counties, you would be correct. Check out The Bradenton Times Weekend Sounds to see what bands you can catch at your favorite venues.
Lauren Mitchell Band
Cottonmouth
Thrusday & Friday - 7:00 p.m.
In a sense, singer Lauren Mitchell has always had the Blues in her blood. That’s hardly a matter of conjecture. A move to New Orleans in 2021 shifted her perspective and allowed her to marinate in the vast musical influences of the city and it's culture.
She’s traveled the world while sharing stages with any number of other acclaimed artists, such as Buddy Guy, Lurrie Bell, Jason Ricci, and Danielle Nicole. Nevertheless, it’s the kudos she’s achieved all on her own — a pair of Blues Blast Award Nominations and Top Ten placement on the Roots Music Report for her last album Desire, recognition at the International Blues Challenge, and the praise from the pundits that’s accompanied all three of her albums thus far.
Cover $25
Lauren Mithcell will be performing on Thursday, March 20th & the 21st.
