BRADENTON  It's another great weekend for 941 s live music lovers! Everyone s favorite Celtic punk trio, Clover s Revenge, is back at Sarasota s Cafe in the Park for another outdoor show. Dead Set Florida is back ""under"" the Big Top, 22N is rocking Joyland, Cassie Jean and the Fireflies return to Cottonmouth, and TEN-76 will be performing at 88 Live! Clover's Revenge brings a mix of two Irish musical traditions: acoustic pub music and Celtic punk rock. Utilizing simple instrumentation, the trio creates an explosive sound, with detailed harmonic lines, and complex rhythms. Steeped?  no, their Irish speed folk is pickled in the traditions of the Dubliners, Pogues, Silly Wizard, and Flogging Molly. The band insists upon high-speed, technical traditional tunes and punk rock badassery. Featuring Beau Wilberding's percussion on the Cajon drum, Zach Johnson on guitar and vocals, and John Barron on vocals, mandolin, and guitar. High energy, high fun. No cover.
