Manatee Government Access Television (MGA-TV) was created by the Board of County Commissioners in 1994 to provide live and taped coverage of government meetings and events in Manatee County.
Currently MGA-TV can be found on Bright House Networks digital channel 622, Verizon Fios channel 30, Comcast Cable channel 20 (channel 18 in Tara Subdivision), and Universal Cable channel 2.
MGA-TV delivers 24-hour service directly from Manatee County Government to cable tv subscribers throughout the county; MGA can also be viewed worldwide on the internet via live stream, and Board of County Commissioners meetings are available in archived form, also as streaming video.
