Bradenton, Florida - Thomas Nelson Gilbert, 80, of Bradenton, FL, passed away on April 7, 2024 from Pancreatic Cancer. He was born on December 2, 1943 in New Amsterdam, NY. He was a proud member of the NRA. He also proudly assisted in the serving the Republican Party in the community of Bradenton for many years. He was also a member of the Power Squadron where he fulfilled his adventures in boating and being on the water. He adored his grandchildren and would travel to see them play in basketball, football and volleyball. He also enjoyed helping them move into their college dorm room or dropping them off at summer camp.
Thomas is pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Vicki. He is survived by his brother, Charles Gilbert of Marathon, FL; daughters, Nicole Moga (Brian) of Virginia Beach, VA and Amy Pagan (Miguel) of Ringwood, NJ and step-son, Frank Kleininger (Megan) of Collingswood, NJ. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, Alexandria, Payton, Carter, Ian, Noah, Emme and Matthew. He was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed!
