Sarasota Shrimp & Music Festival This Weekend

Posted
SARASOTA – This weekend, May 20-22, head down to JD Hamel Park to enjoy a weekend full of great food and live music at the 8th annual Sarasota Shrimp & Music Festival. The three-day family-friendly event is admission-free. Festivities begin Friday at 4 pm and run through Sunday evening.

"This Seafood & Music Festival is created like an outstanding meal, incorporating and blending the finest ingredients."

First, choose from a variety of delicious entrees and side dishes prepared and cooked fresh on-site (seafood, meat, and vegetarian). Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available, and of course, desserts!

Next, add a hefty dash of awesome live music! Scheduled performers include some of the area’s most popular bands and musicians.

Complete this no-fail recipe by tossing in a bit of shopping at the festival’s marketplace. Browse arts and crafts vendor booths, and take home your next prized painting, glass art, gourmet food item, or other specialty product.

It’s a weekend festival prepared to perfection and made to please a crowd!
