Robert I. Gentner, 89, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on April 10, 2024. Born in Chicago, IL, and moved to Bradenton, FL in 1990 from Crystal Lake, IL.
Preceded in death by his parents, Irwin and Salma Gentner; his wife, Vivian Gentner; brother, Charles Gentner; sister, Marilyn Nick; and grandson, Cory Iwanski. Survived by his sister, Dorothy (Harry) Beecher; three daughters, Lori Dominick, Kathy Madden, Kim Iwanski; and son, Harold Gentner. Seven grandchildren, Max (Noelle) Dominick, Michael Novak, Megan (David) Schwertner, Jeremiah (Jennifer) Gentner, Timothy (Alitzel) Hendrickson, Ariel (Jonathan) Reed, and Kelsey Iwanski. Nine great grandchildren, Ronan Dominick, Marin Dominick, Adrien Hendrickson, Rylee Gentner, Nicole Gentner, Wesley Gentner, Giovanni Vega, Sebastian Procter, and Leah Reed.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 12 PM to 2 PM at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26th Street Chapel, 5624 26th Street West, Bradenton, Florida, 34207. Graveside Service will be at 2:30 PM Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto, Florida.
