Riverwalk Splash Pad is Open

Posted

BRADENTON After a six-week wait for the installation of ForeverLawn on the Rossi Park lawn and playground, the park has reopened. The initial reviews are overwhelmingly positive.

Citizens at the park since re-opening have been pleased with the look and feel of the ForeverLawn ""grass"" and commented on the comfort and sustainability of the product. The lawn is padded and soft and does not hold heat.

It will no longer need watering, and events held at Rossi Park will not cause the damage they did to the real grass, eliminating the need to replace the sod after a big event such as the Bradenton Blues Festival.

Just in time for summer vacation, the splash pad is also back. The splash pad operates seven days a week from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., except days when it needs to close because of a public event.
