Pamela Dorothy Negard was born on March 24, 1929, in Newfoundland, Canada, and passed away on March 19, 2024, in Riverview, Florida.
She is predeceased by her son, Robert (Bob); husband, Aldor (Bud); parents, Fred and Kate (Churchill) Hawkins; brothers, Eric and Fred, and sisters, Vera (Hawkins), Joyce (Clarke), and Jean (Briggs).
She is survived by her sister, Geraldine (Colin) Haines; daughter, Debbie (Steve) Reinsel; two grandsons, Jason and Shawn; three great grandchildren, three stepchildren and their families and many special nieces and nephews, along with their families.
Pam and Bud moved to Sun Key Village in Palmetto, FL, in 2002. They were married 56 years when Bud passed away in 2007. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed needlework, traveling to be with her family, and all the friendships she made throughout the years. Pam will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In honor of her memory Pastor William Porter will share a prayer followed by a luncheon at the Sun Key Village Clubhouse, 8607 26th Avenue East, Palmetto, FL 34221, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Inurnment will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery at a later date. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209, is in charge of arrangements.
