Mary Bozzetti

Mary Ann Bozzetti, 83, died peacefully on April 14, 2024. She was born January 22, 1941, in Columbus, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Walter Rosshirt and Marjorie Carey Rosshirt. Mary Ann graduated from Corpus Christy Elementary and Holy Rosary High School in Columbus Ohio.

Shortly following her graduation, she met and married the love of her life, Teodoro Bozzetti on Aug 2, 1958. Mary Ann and Teodoro celebrated 65 years of marriage in August. Mary Ann cherished her years raising 3 children and her life as an Air Force pilot's wife.

She enjoyed gardening and working at a local plant nursery while also excelling at her skills at the local bowling center. Mary Ann was the second woman to roll a perfect 300 score during a sanctioned league event in Manatee County. She was very proud of being a past president of the Manatee Personal Computer Users Group where she taught computer skills to club members and aided first time computer users. In her later years she was introduced to quilting and quickly became a master at her skill, gifting beautiful handmade quilts to family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Rita Preidis and 7 brothers, Walt Rosshirt, Bill Rosshirt, Larry Rosshirt, Jim Rosshirt, Chick Rosshirt, Dick Rosshirt and John Rosshirt. Surviving, in addition to her husband, Teodoro (Ted) Bozzetti, are her 3 children, Teresa (Don) Bartley of Palmetto, Janene (Bill) McGowan of Bradenton, Domnick (Tracy) Bozzetti of Summerland Key and a sister Jeanette Conrad of Ohio. Mary Ann had 7 grandchildren, Chris (Lisa) Bartley, Michael (Christina) Bartley, Bryan (Mallory) Meador, Joseph (Brittany) Baker, Cali (Tyler) Forsythe, Hunter Bozzetti, Christian Avery (Fiancée Gabriella Abreu) Bozzetti. Great grandchildren are Justin Bartley, Nathan Bartley, Ryan Bartley, Lena Bartley, Lexi Bartley, Camden Meador, Ryleigh Jo Baker, Luca Bozzetti, Ella and Leia Kouri. Mary Ann also had numerous nieces and nephews that were very dear to her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, April 28th, 2024, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd St. West, Bradenton, Florida 34209. Refreshments and light snacks will be available after the service.
