On April 6, 2024, Larry Gates Parks, a resident of Parrish, Florida, passed away at the age of 77 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton Florida.
He was born in Greene, New York on October 8, 1946, to Robert Parks Sr. and Madelyn (Gates) Parks. He lived life with his heart. He served our country in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam. He went on to retire from the hospitality business.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Susan Parks; sons, Timothy Parks of Seattle Washington, Todd Farnum of Parrish Fl; daughter, Kimberly Ridgeway of Plant City, Fl; sisters, Sheila Grant of Ona, Fl and Annie of New York and 5 grandkids.
