Bradenton, Massachusetts - Jane Mitchell, of Uxbridge, MA and Bradenton, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a heroic battle with cancer. She fought this disease with the heroism of a thousand warriors. Jane created an extraordinary life for herself and for everyone who knew her. Always known to be the life of the party, she loved entertaining and being surrounded by friends and family. Jane would travel anywhere and everywhere in the world, wherever adventure could be found. She will be missed by so many, her extraordinary life and presence were an inspiration and comfort. One of Jane's favorite mottos was "step out"- take chances and be brave to make a change in the face of any challenge. We hope those reading this will take that advice and live it. She always wanted her loved ones to live life to the fullest and bravest and most bold.

Jane was born in Milford by Annie and Ivan Mitchell. She had two brothers, Thomas and Peter, and two sisters, Anne and Betsey. She grew up in Uxbridge and lived a fun hippie life before returning to Uxbridge to settle down. She had two amazing daughters who inherited her braveness and strength. She was proud to complete numerous degrees later in life, all while balancing family and work. Jane was a financial advisor and cared for her clients as if they were family.

She is predeceased by her husband, Ian Dudgeon, and survived by her children, Jill, Jaime, Bruce and Tracy, and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Liam, Lauren, Isaac, Caelen, Oliver, Griffin, and Raine.

Jane will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at a later time. In lieu of gifts or flowers, we ask those who would like to help to make a donation to your favorite cancer research center or go on an adventurous trip to a place in the world you've never been.
