Obituary:

Henny Braam, of Sarasota, Florida went to be with her Father in Heaven on May 18, 2012 at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, FL surrounded by the ones who deeply loved her.


Born in Spakenburg, Holland on May 13, 1930, there Henny grew to be a young Christian woman and met her sweetheart John.  In the following years, her family immigrated to Ontario, Canada.  John followed, and they were married on July 4th, 1952.  In 1980, the family moved to Florida where they resided since.  She was a member of the Bradenton Christian Reformed Church for over 30 years.


She loved the Lord, her family, and traveling with family and friends.  She always prayed faithfully for her family, and this devotion along with her smile will be greatly missed.


She is survived by her husband, John, her daughters, Martha Ann Storey of Sarasota, Eve Linda Howes and her husband, Alan of Sarasota, her son, Jan Abraham Braam and his wife, Rosie of Bradenton, grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Jonathan, Maaike, Michael, and great grandchild, Connor. She is also survived by her brother, Jack Vermeer and sisters, Gerrie Rumsey and Margaret Brown.



Funeral Information:

Celebration of Henny's life will be held on Thursday, May 24th at 11 a.m., at Bradenton Christian Reformed Church located at 4208 26th St. W, Bradenton, Florida 34205, followed by a light lunch and fellowship time.


Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209 in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions can be made to World Vision.
