Donald E. Campbell was born September 12, 1941 in St. Louis Missouri, son of Howard Campbell and Lena Coffman. He passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 7:00am at his home in Parrish, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Campbell, daughters, Cindy Campbell of San Antonio and Wendy Reynolds of Bradenton, grandsons, David and Daniel Jasper and granddaughters, Heather and Hannah Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joyce McClain. He served his country in the United States Marines. Don retired from Alton Mental Health Center in Alton, Illinois. He was a member of the Saramana Sons of the American Revolution and the Manatee County Historical Society. Prior to moving to Florida to be closer to his daughter and grandchildren, he lived with his wife in Holiday Shores in Edwardsville. Don grew up in Caseyville and attended East St. Louis High School. He graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a Master's Degree.
Funeral Information:
Internment of his ashes will be at the Sarasota National Cemetery with Memorial Services on March 19, 2013 at 1:00pm.
