Robert W. Skelton, 79, Bradenton, died December 12, 2012.
Born in Danville, IL he moved to Bradenton in 1962 from Kankakee, Il. He was a member of the ELKS Lodge 1511 of Bradenton, FL, a member of the PGA, he was a Pro for more than 35 years at the Palma Sola Golf Club, he played Minor League Baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1950's, he was an avid fisherman and a Manatee High School Wrestling fan.
Survived by sons, Robert G. of Serverna Park, MD and Brian C. of Bradenton, FL; daughters, Julie S. Johnson of Palmetto, FL and Jennifer E. Ward of Radcliff, KY; 3 grandchildren.
