Robert ''Bob'' Allen, 89, Bradenton, died June 5, 2012.
Born in Lewiston, ME he moved to Bradenton in 1985 from Rockland, ME.
A Veteran of the US Navy during war time in World War II and the US Army during the Korean War, he was a member and past president of Woodpark Home Owners Association, Maine Teacher's Association and a lifetime member of the National Education Association.
Survived by wife of 68 years, Marylyn of Bradenton, FL; daughters, Linda Fuller of Waterville, ME, Sherry Allen of Portland, ME; grandchildren, Ashley and Brittany; six great grandchildren.

Memorial Service 1:30 P.M. Thursday June 28, 2012 at The Shores.
