Obituary:

Robert B. Exnicios, age 87, of Bradenton, FL passed away on April 23, 2013.  He was predeceased by his beloved first wife of 54 years, Claire Murray Exnicios; a brother, Joseph; and a son-in-law, Walter Durand, Jr.  He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Grinnell Exnicios.   Bob leaves nine children: Joan (Allan) Cameron; James (Meredith); Carol (James) Gosart; Kathleen Durand; Terry (James) Cottrell; Thomas (Jill); Patrice (William) Milec; Robin (William) Ball; and Christine (David) Hindman as well as 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children. He is also survived by 6 step-children, a brother, John, and a sister, Mary Elise Moore.  He dearly loved and was loved by all his family.
He retired from GE as a New York Regional manager after 43 years; he received a BS in Electrical Engineering from LSU; served as president of GE?s Elfun Society; was elected to serve on the Stamford, CT Board of Representatives (R), he was on the parish council of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Stamford; was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served on various boards of directors after retirement.  Bob was a fine, fun, loving man who laughed, swam and played tennis as much as possible. Family, work, church, and telling an amusing story were his passions.
