Obituary:

Ms. Alda Grace Brady, 89, was born January 5, 1923 in Indiana County , Pennsylvania . and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood , S.C. Ms. Brady attended nursing school at the Indiana Hospital in 1940 but her education was interrupted by the war. She worked as a volunteer for the Red Cross for 25 years (1944-1969); established the Christian Counseling Center (1984-1989) and meals-on-wheels in Indiana County . She married the late Lisle Brady in 1942 and was the mother of three daughters: Carol Packo, married to David Packo of Lindenhurst, Illinois, Jo Graziano, married to Gene Graziano of McCormick, South Carolina and Sharon Kay Schilling, married to Robert Schilling of New Castle, Pennsylvania.   In 1951 she built the Brady Trailer Park on route 422 in Indiana Pennsylvania and managed it for more than 10 years. She also handled the business for Brady Irrigation from 1948 to 1986.

 

Alda lived in Bradenton , Florida at the Christian Retreat from 1986 to 2005 and moved to McCormick , SC in 2005.

 

Additional survivors include her grandchildren: Tammi White and husband, James and Michelle Packo,  Eric Graziano and wife, Dena and Neal Graziano and wife, Sarah, Joy Yates and husband, Jamie, Mark Schilling and wife, Kristen, Mathew Schilling and James Schilling and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral Information:
There will be a memorial service held in Indiana , Pennsylvania in July. Final arrangements have not been made.
