Obituary:
Lynn C. Willis, 62, Palmetto, passed away June 1, 2012. Lynn was born on August 31, 1949 in Albany, New York to late Vincent & Helen (Andrews) Rotondo. She has been a resident of Manatee County for many years. She retired from the Palmetto Post Office as a rural letter carrier, was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ellenton, AMVETS, and American Legion Post 325 Auxiliary of Ellenton. Lynn was predeceased by a daughter Kimberly Willis in 1988, and is survived by her three sons; Ryan (Amy) Willis of Palmetto, Chris (Kimi) Willis of Gainesville, FL, Michael (Valerie) Young of Fayetteville, TN, brother, Robert (Sherry) Rotondo of Palmetto, and five grandchildren.
Funeral Information:
The family received friends on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 10-11 A.M. with a celebration of Lynn’s life that followed at the First Baptist Church of Gillette, 3301 97th Street E., Palmetto. Committal services took place at the Gillette Cemetery in Palmetto.
The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the North River Care Center in her memory.
